LOPINE

LOPINE

5 mg / 10 mg

> THERAPEUTIC INDICATION

LOPINE contains the active substance amlodipine which belongs to the group of medicines called calcium channel blockers.
LOPINE is used to treat increased blood pressure (hypertension), or a certain type of chest pain called angina, a rare form of which is Prinzmetal's angina.
In patients with high blood pressure, your medicine works by relaxing the blood vessels so that blood flows through them more easily.
In patients with angina, LOPINE works by improving the blood supply to the heart muscle so that it receives more oxygen, thus preventing chest pain. Your medicine does not provide immediate relief of angina-related chest pain.
