> THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
This medicine contains ibuprofen. It is indicated in infants and children from 3 months to 12 years of age (approximately 30 kg) for the treatment of fever and/or pain such as headaches, flu-like conditions, dental pain, aches and pains.
> DOSAGE AND METHOD OF ADMINISTRATION
Always take this medicine exactly as prescribed by your doctor or pharmacist. Check with your doctor or pharmacist if you are unsure.
The occurrence of adverse effects can be minimised by using the lowest possible dose for the shortest time necessary to relieve symptoms.
For use in infants and children from 3 months to 12 years (approximately 30kg).
The usual dosage is 20 to 30 mg/kg/day in 3 to 4 doses not to exceed 30 mg/kg/day.
The drug is administered using the oral syringe (graduated in kg) which delivers a dose of 7 mg/kg per dose.
The dose to be administered for 1 dose is obtained by drawing up the suspension by pulling the plunger of the syringe for oral administration to the scale corresponding to the child’s weight.
For each dose:
- up to 30 kg: fill the syringe to the weight mark.
- Above 30 kg: there are more suitable dosage forms.

How to take it
Take by mouth. Shake the bottle well before use. Make the patient drink water after taking the solution.
Frequency of administration
Systematic administration avoids fluctuations in pain or fever. They should be taken at least 6 hours apart.
Duration of treatment
In children aged 3 months to 6 months, if this medicine is needed for more than 24 hours, or if the symptoms worsen, it is advisable to consult your doctor.
In children over 6 months of age and adolescents, if this medicine is needed for more than 3 days, or if the symptoms worsen, you should consult your doctor.
If you feel that the effect of SIROFEN is too strong or too weak: consult your doctor or pharmacist.
