LUFANTER contains two active ingredients, artemether and lumefantrine, which belong to a group of drugs called antimalarials and are capable of killing the malaria pathogen.
LUFANTER is indicated for the treatment of uncomplicated malaria infections with Plasmodium falciparum, including mixed form infections involving P. falciparum and the treatment of infections resistant to most other antimalarial drugs. Plasmodium falciparum is a parasite, which inhabits red blood cells.

LUFANTER should only be taken on the advice of a doctor. If you have any questions ask your doctor or pharmacist.
Preparation of LUFANTER suspension
To prepare 60 ml of the suspension, add water and shake the bottle until all the powder is dispersed. Then slowly add more water to the mark on the bottle. Use only boiled and cooled water.
Shake well before each use.
After reconstitution, the suspension is stable for at least 7 days. Store the reconstituted suspension in a refrigerator (between 2°C and 8°C).

Dosage and method of administration
After each administration, give your child a high-fat meal or a high-fat drink such as milk.
Your doctor will tell you exactly how much LUFANTER to give your child. If you are not sure how much LUFANTER to give or when to give it, ask your doctor or pharmacist.
