COFANTRINE ORAL SUSPENSION

> THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
COFANTRINE contains two active ingredients, artemether and lumefantrine, which belong to a group of drugs called antimalarials and are capable of killing the malaria pathogen.
COFANTRINE is indicated for the treatment of uncomplicated malaria infections with Plasmodium falciparum, including mixed form infections involving P. falciparum and the treatment of infections resistant to most other antimalarial drugs. Plasmodium falciparum is a parasite, which inserts itself inside red blood cells.
