> THERAPEUTICAL INDICATION
CO FLULIB® contains two medicines: salmeterol and fluticasone propionate.
Salmeterol is a long-acting bronchodilator. Bronchodilators help the airways in the lungs to stay open, making it easier for air to flow in and out. The effects last up to 12 hours.
Fluticasone propionate is a corticosteroid that reduces inflammation and irritation in the lungs. The doctor prescribes this medicine to help prevent breathing problems such as asthma. CO FLULIB® should be used daily as directed by your doctor. This will ensure that the medicine works properly to help control your asthma.
CO FLULIB® helps to stop shortness of breath and wheezing. However, CO FLULIB® should not be used to relieve a sudden attack of breathlessness or wheezing. In this case you should use a fast-acting "reliever" ("rescue") inhaler, such as salbutamol. You should always carry your fast-acting 'rescue' inhaler with you.
> DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

Once in the morning for daytime symptoms.
You should follow your doctor's instructions regarding the number of sprays and the frequency.
If you are using CO FLULIB® for asthma, your doctor will want to check your symptoms regularly. Tell your doctor immediately if your asthma or breathing gets worse. Your breathing may become more wheezy, and you may feel chest tightness more often, and you may need to use your fast-acting 'reliever' inhaler more regularly. If you experience these symptoms continue to take CO FLULIB® but do not increase the number of sprays. Your breathing problems may be getting worse and you could be seriously ill.
