> THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
This medicine is an antibacterial antibiotic of the macrolide family. It is indicated for the treatment of certain susceptible bacterial infections
> DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION

- It cannot be adapted to another case;
- Do not use it again without medical advice;
- Do not recommend it to another person;
AZITRINE 250, film-coated tablets
As an indication, the usual dosage is, in adults :
- for the treatment of certain angina and oral infections: 2 tablets in only one catch per day during 3 days;
- for the treatment of bronchitis: 2 tablets in a single dose on the 1st day, then 1 tablet per day for the next 4 days.
- for the treatment of urethritis and cervicitis: 4 tablets in one dose
AZITRINE 500, film-coated tablets
As an indication, the usual dosage is, in adults :
- for the treatment of certain sore throats and oral infections: 1 tablet in a single dose per day for 3 days;
- for the treatment of bronchitis: 1 tablet taken as a single dose on the first day, then 1 tablet of AZITRINE 250 mg per day for the following 4 days.
- for the treatment of urethritis and cervicitis: 2 tablets in one dose.
Strictly follow your doctor’s prescription.
If you feel that the effect of AZITRINE, film-coated tablet is too strong or too weak, consult your doctor or pharmacist.
> Method of administration
The tablets can be taken with or without meals, as a single dose per day.
> Duration of treatment
The duration of treatment is :
- 3 days for the treatment of certain sore throats and oral infections
- 5 days for the treatment of bronchitis.
To be effective, this antibiotic must be used regularly in the prescribed doses and for as long as your doctor advises.
The disappearance of a fever, or any other symptoms, does not mean that you are completely cured.
If you feel tired, this is not due to the antibiotic treatment but to the infection itself. Reducing or stopping your treatment will not affect this feeling and will delay your recovery.
