> THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
BILOR 1 mg/ml syrup is a member of the class of medicines called antihistamines. Antihistamines reduce allergy symptoms by preventing the effects of a substance called histamine, which is produced by your body when you have an allergic reaction.
BILOR 1 mg/ml, syrup is indicated for the relief of symptoms associated with allergic rhinitis (for example, hay fever) such as sneezing, runny or itchy nose, itchy or watery eyes.
BILOR 1 mg/ml syrup is also used to relieve symptoms associated with chronic idiopathic urticaria (itching, redness, and number and size of hives).
> DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Dosage :
Adults and adolescents (12 years and over): 10 mg once daily or 10 ml (2 x 5 ml measuring spoons) of syrup once daily.
Children aged 2 to 12 years:
Child weighing more than 30 kg: 10 ml (10 mg) or 2 measuring spoons of 5 ml syrup once a day.
Children weighing less than 30 kg: 5 ml (5 mg) or 1 measuring spoon of 5 ml of syrup once a day.
Subjects with severe hepatic impairment: the dose should be reduced.
Children weighing more than 30 kg: 10 ml (10 mg) or 2 measuring spoons of 5 ml of syrup in one dose every 2 days.
Children weighing less than 30 kg: 5 ml (5 mg), i.e. 1 measuring spoon of 5 ml of syrup in one dose every 2 days.
The use of BILOR 1 mg/ml syrup is not recommended in children under 2 years of age.
Method of administration
Take by mouth.
Use the measuring spoon to measure the amount of product to be administered.
This medicine can be taken either with or without meals.
