> THERAPEUTIC INDICATION
LOFNAC Injection contains diclofenac, a member of the family of non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs). These medicines reduce inflammation, pain and fever.
LOFNAC Injectable is reserved for adults and adolescents over 15 years of age.
It is used for short-term treatment:

If you have a flare-up of rheumatism due to inflammation.
If you have occasional lower back pain (acute lumbar pain).
If you have occasional pain due to irritation of a nerve (e.g. sciatica).
If you have painful attacks in the lower back due to a blockage of the organs that allow you to urinate (renal colic attacks).

Your doctor will give you this medicine by injection before switching to the oral or rectal form.

> DOSAGE AND ADMINISTRATION
Dosage
Your doctor will decide on the dose to be used depending on the reason for prescribing this medicine. Follow the prescription.
The usual dose is 1 ampoule per day.
If necessary, your doctor may supplement your treatment with a 50 mg tablet.

Method of administration
This medicine is used by injection. A healthcare professional will prepare this medicine and inject it into your buttock muscle.
During treatment with LOFNAC Injectable, tell the healthcare professional who will be administering this medicine the last side where you received your injection of LOFNAC Injectable.

Frequency of administration
Your doctor will give you this medicine only once a day.

Duration of treatment
Your doctor will tell you the duration of treatment.
The duration of treatment is 2 to 3 days maximum. After that, your doctor will prescribe the tablet form to continue your treatment.
